Following Planning Approval, the next piece of paperwork you will need is Building Regulations Approval.

The Building Regulations are a series of Approved Documents produced by the government that set out how buildings in the UK should be constructed, with an emphasis on the health and safety of the building’s occupants.

We will produce a complete set of working/construction drawings, providing large-scale sections & details as required with comprehensive specification notes to comply with the Approved Documents.

Unlike Planning Permission which can be very subjective you should, providing you have the detailed set of ‘working drawings’ that we always provide, be granted Building Regulations Approval for your project.  

Compliance with the Building Regulations is either checked by the Council’s Building Control department or by an Approved Building Control Inspector (we will advise you of the best route).
