Planning Advice & Planning Permission

Planning Advice & Permission

Following client approval of a design the next stage normally is to obtain Planning Permission for the development, unless you are able to use your permitted development rights, which we will be able to advise you on.

Depending on the scale of your proposal you may just want some simple Planning Advice, which we can provide, or you may wish to apply for more formal Pre-Application advice from the Council.

Following the initial Planning Advice, we will produce a detailed set of drawings in CAD for submission to the Council for Approval. This is sent to the council via the Planning Portal website guided and submitted by Arcteck Designs with us completing all the necessary form filling and producing any additional supporting documents & statements that are required to accompany the application.

The planning application process: initial validation, notification, consultation and decision-making can take 8-10 weeks providing the application doesn’t need to go to Planning Committee, in which case it could be longer. Although we have a very high success rate (over 90%) you are not always guaranteed a positive outcome and we may need to make some design alterations to get approval for you.
